Registration Accounts and Quotas
Basic Registration Account
Your membership includes a registration account with a monthly basic quota, which you can use up without additional costs being charged. The number of requests per day is calculated as follows:
| Your domain inventory is less than or equal to 50,000 domains? | Your domain inventory exceeds 50.000 domains? |
|---|---|
| 50,000 requests |
|
-
With your basic quota, you can access RRI Live.
-
Unlimited numbers of additional quotas, each comprising 50,000 requests per day, may be obtained against payment.
Registration Accounts in RRI Live
A total of 10 registration accounts can be used for RRI Live. The first registration account is your basic registration account. The additional 9 registration accounts are used against charge and contain a monthly quota for each additional registration account, consisting of:
-
For your registration accounts, you may book additional quotas comprising 50,000 requests per day each.
-
You can book additional quotas indefinitely.
| Notice | If you have not yet registered any domains as a new member but booked additional registration accounts for RRI Live, the number of requests in the monthly quotas is zero (0), according to the above calculation. By initially adding additional quotas, you have orders for the additional registration accounts available. Additional quotas have a term of 6 months. |
Registration Accounts in RRI Rush
In RRI Rush, the number of additional accounts is not restricted. For all registration accounts in RRI Rush, quotas (50,000 requests per day) must be booked against charge.
| Notice | With an additional quota, you can either access RRI Live or RRI Rush, depending on whether this additional quota has been booked for a registration account in the RRI Live or the RRI Rush environment. |

DENIC RRI Client
Next to your own command-line-based client or the RRI web interface, you can also use the DENIC command-line-based client to send requests to the RRI (DENIC RRI client on the GitHub).
Features
-
You can create a picklist in which you locally store the hosts and credentials for your environments. Then you no longer have to enter this information whenever you start the DENIC RRI client. Instead, you can choose from the environments you have stored.
-
The DENIC RRI client is able to read in files with commands and arguments. Thus, complete requests can be processed by means of files.
-
In an interactive mode, the DENIC RRI client will query all parameters that belong to a request. So, you are guided step by step through the creation of a request and all required parameters are included in the request that is sent.
